How to dismount cavalry

Food for thought for you modders:
The Sahariana units in DAK gave me an idea. In my 1.10 equipment.pzdat file that I am using for my hack of the Grand Campaign, I have created a second record after each and every cavalry unit and renamed them, e,g, "DIsmounted Kavallerie", etc, and gave the dismounted units infantry stats (though weaker than regular infantry), and in the Multi-Purpose field I entered the appropriate IDs so you can switch back and forth between the two units. Now I can move my cavalry unit up and then on the next turn dismount it for defense (just like the AA/AT switch). So in effect you can now switch back an forth between the two units, "Kavallerie" and "Dismounted Kavallerie", and use them for mounted recon or as dismounted infantry (a more historical WW2 role for cavalry?).
I have also used this to have two versions of infantry, one entrenched and the other not. Entrenched Infantry can't move, has lowered attack stats, but increased spotting and defense stats.
