Is it possible to edit the AK campaign so that you can import the core after DLC 40, like when you are starting DLC 41 ?

Should be possible.
You need to edit the campaign.pzdat of the AK (backup first!).

The first line should be (note: this is a sample!)

# Name Label in campaign path Description Side Nation Starting prestige Display name
X Y AK 0 0,5 1100 AK DLC39+AK Campaign {GUID} END_SAVE_CORE

X= the name of the first label (first scenario) of the AK campaign
Y= a numeral, the number of scenario after the DLC39 scenarios (if there are 12 scenarios in DLC 39, than the first scenario in AK is 13, making Y=13)
GUID= the string of number and letters found in the DLC39 directory with the filename Guid.txt
