Changing side error

Hi Pip

Multiplayer.

a- Loaded a turn, just to see the situation and then saving to server to retake the turn later.
b- Loaded another scenario turn (in the same session) finishing that turn everything seems ok.
c- Loading the turn (a) again and:
  • I can see my units (allied) but I can not select any unit.
  • The end turn flag is active and shows the enemy side (german)
  • next buttons do nothing
  • saved again to server and loaded again: same result.
  • then ended turn and my opposed is now the allied, he takes the turn and send to me, I'm now the german.
This is a user scenario (created by myself) but tested a lot, we've played at least ten or twelve times, doesn't seem a scenario issue.

Were you playing the other side in the 2nd scenario? That is - were you playing side 0 or side 1 in each game (usually it's fairly easy to tell which is the first side, if not just tell me the maps and the country you were playing).

It looks like you made too many saves for me to grab the prior turn and try and repeat, but can you let me know who your opponents were please.

Cheers

Pip

The scenario is BUCHHOLZ, I was playing as allied, side 0.
Were you playing the other side in the 2nd scenario?
The other scenario is City River and we are playing both sides (one as german and another as allied) I do not remember which side I loaded then.
Do you think it is relevant here?.

Too many saves...? just the one I told you.

My friend, who help me to test all scenarios before releasing them, is alex_bp, and when this has happened we were both at the same room doing turns testing these near final versions. So we were at the same wifi, he with an iPad and I with a Mac computer. When this happened I called him to see the problem and we decided to end the turn, then he loaded in his iPad and get the sides changed.

Urgh - sounds like a complex sequence of events! :) I will try and see whether I can grab the games and duplicate it.

Cheers
