Barbarossa, JUNE 22, SCENE 10,11,12,13 OF 28. 11th Fallschrimjager turned into train engine?
Turn9 I loaded from A/F, moved it on turn 10, moved it on turn 11 but could not find the Aircraft when I discovered train engine inspection revealed it was missing paras, it moved ok , could not fight remained till the last move, but did not carry over as core (ended up sans para or engine). Thought you should know. Playing 1.10 mod, with latest sounds etc.
This is the first problem that I have run into in the stock 1939-45 Camp.

I am not quite sure I understud your description. Paratrooper loaded in air transport disappeared from the map and than you found it loaded in rail transport, or something else?

Loaded aircraft with troopers
next move amoved a/c to new location
next turn a/c no where around
notice train engine, clicked onit, up came para info screen
tried unload ....no go
tried to move ...yes it moved but could not fight
(info screen says para unit/acts just like a train, even sound is train, could not get it back to para, didn't need it b then.)

Did this train appeared on the same hex where aircraft disappeared? How did it moved, as train on railtracks, on any other terrain as infantry or as aircraft? Do you use modified files? Do you have save game for this situation?

I think Chief is using my sound mod. Weird things can happen when you reach the 1GB limit.
Chief, how many games, have you played without exiting to Windows?

I usually play 5 or 6 scenarios, then I go to forums, play a round with SPwaw for about an hour and I have 2 Gb and 72% of that available when I start a session.
The a/c moved, I did a few other setups then went to see if all A/cs had moved and it was a train. I run a registry cleanrer twice daily since I'm on this machine about 10 hours a day of and on.

Playing 5 or 6 scenarios without exiting to Windows can create issues with the game, specially if you're playing with the sound mod which will use much more RAM.
Have you created the shortcut like I've instructed in the sound mod thread? Otherwise you can exit to Windows and enter the game again, more often.

JUst played the MOscow scenario straight thru without a problem. Thanks I've still have wierd problems when I try to enter mods with or without GME, I am getting discusted with the way this works, I've never had this much problem with any game. Forget my bugs i seem to be the only one who has them so it must be my machine.

Like I've told you before, you shouldn't have problem with using mods. Probably there's something that you're missing in the whole process of using mods.
I really am sorry for not being able to help you, so far, identifying the problem.
Although the issue reported here, might be related with the 1GB limit.

When PanzerCorps.exe reaches 1GB memory usage (it can vary) it crashes to desktop. But before it crashes it can stop playing sounds, attacking other units, etc.
With Panzer Corps vanilla this limit is hard to reach, if not impossible. But add some mods, specially those with graphics, animations, sounds and it's quite easy to make it happen. Specially if you like to play a lot of scenarios without exiting to Windows, which is only when the game flush all the animations, sounds and graphics from memory.
With 1.10, Rudankort added a new efx file format which will help in making it a little harder to happen. But that might not be enough, specially if you play with several mods. So it was added a switch, that if enabled, permits to disable the animation cache.
Our tests permitted to conclude that still it was possible to crash... only it's much hard, much hard to happen.
There's an alternative way which is to flag the exe with large address aware. But this will only works with Windows x64. With this, it's almost impossible to crash then.
However if more people complained, which haven't so far, Rudankort will study the possibility of disabling also the sound cache. But this would be as a last resource.
Take a look at my sound mod thread, to read how to disable the animation cache.
