1. Separate germany/italy and france/us/uk that would give the game more depth both regardning multiplayer and singleplayer.
2. Teaming up against the computer in multiplayer.
Me and my friend who are strategic geeks argued who should be germany when we played against the computer over tcp/ip. That where before we knew that option didn`t existed.
3. As mentioned before, renaming of trops are esential in a strategic game.
