Hello,

I tried to start a TCP/IP game with a friend but it wont work. The game showed an IP like 165.XXX.XXX but "what is my IP now" tells me I have 72.XXX.XXX.XXX . So the program dont show me the last numbers after the last dot and I cant hit the OK button, too.

My firewall (no NAT) dont ask me that the program tries to connect to the internet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

try
http://www.whatismyip.com/
I do not know if that answers your question. Regarding the firewall, if it does not ask you, can you notinstead manually go into it and allow CEAW internet access?

Thanks for your fast answer!

I tried whatismyip.com but the game showed up a different ip. When both of us - my friend and I - enter the others IP (getting it from whatismyip.com) the game just not even try to connect to the internet.

The button OK is disabled. So we cannot connect... What are we doing wrong?

Thanks again.

One of you should Host and push host host button, the other player should type in the host IP adress and thereafter push the join button.

So if the host has 111.222.333.555 ip adress then it is the OTHER player who should enter 111.222.333.555 and then push Join.

We have a multiplayer guide here :)
