I just bought the game and installed it. the intro runs smoothly. but when we start the tutorial campaign. the game hangs then an error message is shown saying that GBoR has encountered a problem and needs to be shutdown. please help.

Try renaming the movies directory (found in DATA\BATTLE inside the installation directory) to XmoviesX and see if that helps.
