Any chance any of you guys will be posting up your Britcon lists? It's always nice to compare what some people bring to the table compared to what you bring?

Some players already posted their list in onother post.
mine was:
ECW Royalist 1944
FC TC TC
3 cavaliers superior armoured pistol pistol 4 bases each
1 cavalier average unarmoured pistol swordman 4 bases
3 Pike & Shot Average (2 line infantry and 1 regional infantry) 6 bases each
3 Commanded Out Muschetiers Superior 6 bases each
2 Commanded Shot Average 2 bases each
1 dragoon average 4 bases
1 firelocks superior 4 bases

You must have done bloody well to score any points with that list against tigers and panthers!

Not to bad: 6th on 22 with 90 pt in 6 match. 3 win 2 draw 1 lost

I was more thinking about the line:

"ECW Royalist 1944"

Don't fancy your mob against Pansy Grenadiers.

I would be curious to see the Maya List that did quite well in a tournament otherwise crawling with Knights. Maya seem to be doing quite well, judging by their rating. Is it posted anywhere?

That was my list - got butchered by knight armies and did ok against others. 3 big wins and 3 big losses

2 bg lf sling
1 bg lf javelin

Needs a better player than me to do well against massed knights. Also I don't think the composition is ideal

Maybe I needed Cromwell (lots of them) and not Rupert to deal with thoose ones

In the interests of fairness i feel obliged to pointout that 90 minutes into our game we both thought it was going to be 25-0. And not to the irish!

Finished sixth out of thirty two.

IC + 2 TC

3 big wins and 3 draws (one 10-10 and the other two where I was slightly on top). Provided you get enough terrain in play this army can go on the offensive against shooty cav armies, and if you end up on a billiard table you can just turn the table and usually end up with a winning draw.

Its not about fairness Dave, its about skill, which you were obviously lacking. Or are you going to balme the dice again like last night?
