I just completed DLC 39´ on field marshall but it did not unlock any of the bonus difficulties. Do they not exist for the DLC´s?

Rommel, Mannstein etc. ?

No only the long Main Campain 39 do this.

You can play the DLC's with the bonus difficulties but to unlock them you need to finish the vanilla campaign with a decisive victory in the final USA scenario. You can of course just use the cheat code to shortcut through all the scenarios to unlock it.

I will try and beat the vanilla on FM then. I dont like using cheat, and if i cant beat the vanilla campaign on FM im not worthy of the other difficulties

I've never finished the vanilla campaign - you have 2 much faster options. If you feel confident editing your registry the option I used is:

If you've installed 1.10 your other option is to simply mod one of the other difficulties to mimic the bonus difficulty of your choice (or a custom difficulty - I'm playing FM with +1 allied strength.) The file is diff.pzdat and it's in your panzer corp\data folder:

# Strength modifier is added to max strength of all units (can be positive or negative).

I suggest editing the registry. Playing the vanilla to get it was to me, far too tedious. Rommel makes things much more interesting. Manstien is great if you are a Masochist; but if not, I'd stick with Rommel.

Well said! Playing Rommel now in GC '39 and enjoying it tremendously. Half-prestige is no joke!

And yes Manstein is for die-hard masochists.

mmmm...well
I want to play on "rommel" level and if I understand well I have to play with a "destroy all around me" cheat code for a dozen of scenarios of the vanilla campaign ? Well finally I think I will play the what if scenarios like sea lion and the science fiction Amerika even if I don't like these ones very much.

A little fastidious and I don't want to take risks with the computer for the "B" method

There is no "rapid victory" cheat code on the list (?), it seems to be

A modified Manstein is really cool. You can set all the unit max strengths to 7 which gives most units a strength of 12. There are a good amount of units that are still strength 16+ but not as rough as a full Manstein.

I finally unlocked the extra difficulties just last week. It was one of my vacation goals. It took several tries.

It does not work on any of the Grand Campaigns, it needs to happen on either Vanilla Campaign, Africa Corps, Allied Corps, or Soviet Corps

Of course, if you want to play the advanced levels without using a cheat code or completing one of the campaigns with a DV, simply play with the custom settings that correspond to them. +50 AI Prestige and -5 Turns to play Guderian, Patton, or Konev level; +50 AI prestige and +5 Unit Strength for Manstein, Eisenhower, and Rokossovsky; and -50 Player Prestige and +50 AI Prestige for Rommel, Montgomery, and Zhukov.

Thanks for the feedback on this goose_2, hucks, and dalfrede. I am at India in AK at FM difficulty so maybe I can try and push for that. Fingers crossed. So glad to see others are also still enjoying this game
