Slitherine

I bought 2 big lots of Russians at the flea market at Historicon from two different people.. I got them base ready to go.. Several of the units I thought had really dark green uniforms.. They now look black/blue:-/ They are old minifigs it looks like.. I remember reading something about a German legion or something.. Could this be them?(I hope) The jagers that came with the figs are in the normal green.

My recollection was the russo-german legion were germans in Russian uniforms - ie green jackets - maybe a google search may help you identify them.

If your figures you dark, you can always pull them off their bases, highlight the dark colours with a mid green, and rebase.

For 15mm lads, games workshop Goblin Green makes a good highlight. A couple of dabs on the outside of the arms, the odd spot around equipment on the body, and green coated russkies you have!
