First read comments

Firstly I should say that I have watched some games so I did not read the rules completely blind.
The rules seem quite well written and are generally understandable as I read them.
After reading through the rules I now feel as though I could play a game from the quick reference sheets with only occasional cause to look things up in the rules.
The main area I don't feel as though I fully understand is special manoeuvres. Particularly turns and expansion/contractions, I suspect that the pictures would help quite a lot with this.
I think a good contents page and index are required because I can't find things easily when I look them up.
Field commanders seem expensive compared to troop commanders - I wait to see what I think after playing a game or 4.
The table on page 16 is missing the colour present on the quick reference sheet.
Page 100, a minor point, there is an 's' missing from the word 'yours' before the exclamation mark.
