Or rather what's your favorite Afrika Korps scenario so far?

I quite like all the early scenarios but Gazala is my favorite.

Tunisian Bridgehead is probably my absolute favorite at this point in time. Other favorites include Gazala, Syria, Persia and Second Offensive.

Persia scenario - the map is large and the terrain is terrific.

I am still at Alam Halfa.

I wish there would be an easy way to communicate people how AWESOME the scenarios and therefore Panzer Corps are. Some just don't believe me.
Scenario/level design is probably the most important thing when it comes to the fun you can have with a game. Unfortunately you have to PLAY the game to notice this quality.

Back to work - I will have to hurry up, the Panzer Corps team keeps pumping out quality DLCs and expansions so fast that we might be in the Pacific or WW3 before I am through the Afrika Campaign.

Only got as far as Gazala as not had much time to play over the weekend. That is my favourite so far though, mainly because I lost it. I felt I lost it, not due to game mechanics, but to poor decision making on my behalf, which is how I want games to be; the mechanics should almost be secondary to the overall feel of it.

I know what you mean, I'm still trying to crack Prokorovka at Kursk before i try Africa. I spend a fair bit of time on MP and sometimes have a second attempt at some of the tough DLC scenarios if casualties are heavy on the first run but I'm still not sure how so many here race through everything.

Prokhorovka is easy (on FM that is ) victory at turn 13. Of course that was before the 1.10 update (maybe should replay to see if there is any difference).

That must depend on the core force that you go in with. I also play FM but with my armies experience growth rate drastically cut since 39 and I can't see myself getting there by turn 13. There is at least a slight difference with the new AI, I've watched those soviet SPG's switch from artillery to AT mode and attack.
I suppose this is off topic but did you go with 3 deployment zones ? I've been thinking about piling everything in the south and driving north from there with the lot.

My main force is South-West, small force South-East that just defends and stays put and a small force north that has only one objective - as you can see from the caps

But realistically DV usually comes at turn 15-16.What really bothers me is the fact that the famous thanks battle never materializes, they should have put the trigger for the 5th army attack much much sooner...

Your core force is impressive and considerably more advanced, I guess with 8 overstrength Tigers and a few elephants it might seem easy. I have 2 Tigers, 2 Panthers and 2 elephants and with my settings that's all i can afford for the moment. Its a quite the challenge keeping my force in good shape (but still great fun). I didn't see the 5th guards tank army until quite late either but they made an impact when they showed up.

Yeah, such a nice core and 34k prestige to boot? Smells fishy  I gave up the DLC's in '44 after hitting a brick wall. I lost motivation to play on due to the combination of drained prestige and scenarios which seemed to be engineered to make the player's carefully built core evaporate. That was on Field Marshall and up to that point I had managed to get DV's just about everywhere. I never reload when I lose core units though, although I do restart a scenario on occasion.

The core force alone must be worth about 20 000 prestige but i didn't notice the 34k in the bank  .
Gee he wasn't kidding when he said it was easy.

I'm sure every scenario becomes easier after using the prestige #N cheat

Malta by far! I love those scenarios where combined forces from air, land and sea are required to win!

This is really hard to say. I've just finished Basra (my first time playing any of those large scale urban maps, haven't done stalingrad or anything like that yet, but won it right off in Fieldmarshall. Yay me).

So far I guess Alam Halfa, because it really felt like the dynamic of the real battle got across, also the introduction of mine fields, making my pioneers more important... I liked that. Also how it became increasingly difficult to keep the Royal Air Force in check...
Also it seemed like the most epic scenario so far. But I really loved so many other ones. Dash to the Wire was great even though the instructions confused the heck out of me the first time (a future patch might want to revisit that)
Malta was great of course. The battle that should have happened but never did and probably cost Germany the African campaign. Then Palestine was great with the Arab uprising in the North...

But let's see how the rest goes :-)

Just finished the campaign (btw it is very nice that this campaign also unlocks the three aditional difficulty levels :) ) on field marshall. I have to say after playing this India is my favorite scenario because it is challenging, every move need to be checked and double checked because the enemy units are so strong. I cannot imagine how I would have won this if I hadn't invested in so much artillery. Unprotected units die very fast here.
Also my strat bombers had their work cut out for them. They destroyed nearly the entire royal navy. When the scenario ended in turn 29 (I didn't even realize I didn't have to capture ALL objective. It said 10 but I never counted how many are on the map :P) there was only one damaged destroyer and two nearly dead submarines left. Next turn would have finished them all off.
Very nice. Doing this and capturing ALL objectives is a nice challenge for the future :) I also liked how this scenario really asks for everything. All units were useful and had a lot to do. My Jagdpanthers, the Panthers, infantry, definately artillery, the pioneers clearing mine fields, the bombers hitting tanks and the navy, the fighters cleaning up in the air (that jet in the end was tough) and of course my trusty Flak that just blasted fighters and bombers out of the sky. Nice indeed. Very very nice campaign.
