AK: Captured Units (Spoiler)

Like in the
GC I found some units to capture in AK:
Battleaxe - Sidi Suleiman (18, 25) - Matilda II - Exp: 57 Str: 10
Dash to the wire - Fort Maddalena (32, 23) - Crusader I - 87 - 10
Gazala Line - Bir Beuid (36,35) - Grant I - 161 - 10

The captured units in AK are richer and more varied than in the GC. It is a nice evolution. And not to spoil things, but later on you're going to find not all of them have wheels or tracks.
I have played through during the beta testing and had good fun with the captures.

Found another unit in Palestine:
Palestine - Sofi (26, 41) - Churchill IV - 223 - 10
Curious, the city of Sofi has no flag but a unit to capture.

Are you supposed to get a unit for destroying all the Hangars in Dash to the Wire? I blew 'em all up and didn't get anything. Although I killed the last one on turn 18 which may be the problem?

No, for killing the Hangars you won't get a unit only for taking Fort Maddalena. If you don't get the captured unit it could be because
- the Hex the captured unit appears is blocked by another unit
- the Hex with the trigger is captured in the last turn. In this case in prior versions of the game the unit won't get captured but I don't know if this behaviour was changed in version 1.10.

Oh. I did get the Crusader for Fort Maddalena. I just figured there must be some reason for those Hangars.
So what's the point of the Hangars out in the desert if they don't do anything?

No, hangar is just there to be destroyed.

Dash to the Wire is quite a nice scenario, you get tons of extra units.

Just opend this mission with the editor. There is nothing more to capture, just the Crusader!

Correct and still incorrect! You get three reward units in this scenario
1. StuG IIIB
2. Bf-109f
3. Pz-III
During "Second Offensive" you will be rewarded the following units
1. Italian Tactical Bomber with an A2 hero
2. Italian Self-propelled Artillery with an A5 hero
3. Italian Self-Propelled Artillery with a M1 hero
Pretty cool stuff.

OK to clarify - I replayed these two scenarios
in Dash to the Wire destroy the hangars and a turn or two later you get StuG IIIB, Bf-109f, Pz-III.
in Second Offensive the reward units will arrive only if you capture El Aghelia quickly enough! (in my case turn 9-10)

Given the amount of air power the allies use in Dash the Wire and Second Offensive, that extra BF-109f is a huge bonus and well-worth playing over again to get it (after six tries I finally DV the scenario without losing any units, but most of them were greatly reduced in strength at the end - thankfully there are not enough slots to deploy everything in Second Offensive, so this is a manageable problem). Just watch out for a strength 14 British HW unit guarding the hangar in the south center if you hit it from the north. (Since, this is a spoilers topic so I hope it is okay to note this.)

Does anyone know which Italian bonus one should receive in East Afrika for freeing the Nairobi prisoners? I got nothing because i accidentally captured the last three objectives in the same turn

Is there a way using the scenario editor to go in and find out if there are captured units available and where they are located?
