Anyone worked out the point of a Bazooka?

I have been playing a number of the missions where you pick your own forces and so far I think I have totally failed to kill anything with a bazooka. Even when they are at point blank range to the rear of for example a Panther I get a 0% kill chance. I cannot assault a tank with a bazooka so I am at a loss as to the point of them.

Use everything else you've got (Priests, mortars, tanks) to reduce an enemy tank's morale as low as possible... then use a bazooka to take a surrender... they're cheap... They're better at taking out transports at their 2-space range (which obviously you can't do with an engineer

)

In the Christmas Surprise scenario,...bazookas are indispensable.
It really comes down to odds,..and lowering the morale also helps.
I have taken out Stugs and an occasional Panther from the rear. But usually, their morale is under 70%

I can only repeat what has been said so far...they are useful against light vehicles and tanks from the rear. Keep tham on hold fire until you ned them and then let loose.

They need flank or rear shots to penetrate heavy tanks.
