Elephants - Part of a Division?

I may be missing the reference, but with the Troop type definitions differentiating between Mounted and Elephants, I can't find anything to say whether Elephants can be part of a Division, and also whether there are any restrictions on what other troop types they can be in a Division with as there is with Mounted and Foot. Any one help?

Since Elephants are neither Foot nor Mounted, and are not one of the types that are specifically excluded from Divisional moves, I believe that they may form a Division with either Foot or Mounted troops.

That's what we reckoned during the game when it cropped up, but the subsequent question is whether it can move 3 times if in a Division with Mounted. If it can be part of a Division then it follows that it should be allowed to move the same, but that seems a tad generous to me?

No, because the Elephants are not classed as Mounted, and only Mounted troops and Dragoons can make 3rd moves (p101). Commanded Shot can also form a Division with Mounted and they can't make 3rd moves either, so the elephants are not unique in that.
