I was looking through a copy of E & E that someone brought at Historicon, and noticed in the 1805 Austrian Danube list you are allowed a minimum of 4 medium guns, and 2 optional heavy guns, although the list maximum is 4 guns total.

Can someone clarify that & try to havean errata out in time for when the book is on general sale in Spetember ?

You mean you already have a print of the book in sneak preview ???

Maybe 'list' it here so we can all proofread it and assure its printed quality

Three copies, and sadly only 3 were sold at Historicon, all I was bothered seeing for the few minutes I had access were the Austrian 1805 lists...

Although I hear they feature an option for the US submarines that Napoleon rejected.....

Apparently the Osprey booth decided to sell their display copies at the opening bell. The temptation to mug the perpetrators and run to the xerox machine was resisted...barely and only because the requisite paper was not available to satisify the demand.

i glanced at a friend's and the raw troop definiations did not seem startling. I only looked at a few of the more popular.
05 French no conscripts not surprising
06 Prussian more average than I expected.
11 Anglo-port. A little less rigid cavalry-wise than the one in rule book.

unfortunately other than noting the 05 russians in austria can have two batteries in a division i don't remember any of the notes which are important to the character.

So in all my perusal was not worth much intel i am afraid.

I believe there is a Serbian uprising army from 1808 or so included too, why them & not 1812 British & Americans I don't know. Going to guess there are more American armies than Serbian armies out there....

As was brought up pre release in the forums, the armies in the war of 1812 in North America are way too small to be handled by the rules. There had been some early discussion about a separate set of rules for 7 years war/ smaller Napoleonic era battles like 1812 and wars in South America.

We shall see something some day perhaps

I've had a copy of E & E for about 2 weeks - took it on holiday with me for a bit of light reading.

I've completed the first pass proof read and should have errata/corrections uploaded before it goes on general sale.
(I have noted the artillery issue with the 1805 Austrian list.)
