Hi everyone :

I am so glad to a chance to challange Diplomaticus as Allies after his last great victory against me . I 'd like to retry my Allies bliz again with some improvement . Let's see how will it work .

Turn 1

Axis bliz Polland as usual & also conquer Demark by a GAR & two surface ship's support .( Is it worthy ? )

Allies Dow Belgium & conquer it . Pollish did a good job in a suiside attack mission .

Turn 2 fair

Polland fall . French troops move into Belgium position . RN escort Canadian troops to Europe ,Maybe France .

Last time , Joe broke my strategy by conquer Leige , this time we won't let it happen . Now let's see how many fair turns will Axis get . If Next turn will be mud , we will be happy to take a break . :)

I think Diplomaticus did the right thing by invading Holland. It will be difficult for the Axis to do anything during winter because of the narrow front and good defensive terrain, but Holland is one less thing he will have to worry about in spring. Overall it will probably make Paris fall 1-2 turns earlier.

I'm curious to see how this will play out! :)

Yes , Diplomaticus made the right choice to take Holland ealier . Since he did not get the luck to take Leige , so it is difficult for him the make a breakthrough . I suppose if I used this edition of strategy in our game , it would be easier for me . But now , you are celebrating your victory of sealion in London :( & UK is dying in 1940 ?!

Turn 4 Oct 31st 1939 fair

Another fair turn !

Holland fall . Heavy air combat ! we lost 9 FTR steps in one turn ! Also Axis lost 11 ftr steps & 2 tac steps ! Axis move into the offense position in Belgium , If next turn will also be fair , they will start their attack , otherwise Axis's offense will probably postpone to next spring .

Does a little mud dance for ya!

Question: Is there a moral drop for the Allies when Belgium is taken by the Germans in this situation?

No , since Belgium is not exsit after they surrender to France . No country can surrender twice :)

this AAR shows why I think it's better to launch the Dyle plan in October.

It is too late to launch it in Oct ,since Axis will be able to transfer & concentrate a strong group of units( one arm ,two Mech ,4 INF& whole Luftwaffe .)If the weather is fair , Axis can badly hurt the French invation troops & then cause a early Paris fall .

Turn 5 Nov 20 1939 Mud

Turn 6 Dec 10th 1939 winter

since bad weather coming , nothing happened but the Axis sub attack my BB with a 2:0 . last turn I use it to bomb a corp for 1:0 . It was really a bad decision & a bad business . Nothing fight on the ground ,so I quit the screenshot ,maybe until the first fair day in 1940 .

BTW, it's "campaign", not "compaign". I'm only pointing this out because I noticed that you make this mistake in all your AARs :). Keep the updates coming!
