Historicon update

We played a couple of exhibition/teaching games yesterday, with Dan Hazelwood & Walt Leach being the main teachers, and managed to get around 8 or 9 interested players for the games. All enjoyed themselves immensely, and seemed to have a better understanding of the rules afterwards.
Personally I feel that exhibition games instead of tournament games is the way forward for the next year or so over here in the USA, others might disagree but these rules differ so much from A&M and R it is nicer to have a relaxed atomosphere to go through the game mechanics.
Why is the release date for book 2 of the army lists as late as September ? Osprey had 3 copies of the book at Historicon.
