I see that stone walls are passable by vehicles but not hedgerows, is it like that or I'm wrong in the way I place the stone walls?

Yes, I noted that today as well as some Shermans passed right over them. My guess is that "stonewall" is not the same as "castle wall."

If you want to stop vehicles from passing through use the hedge.

I believe the stone walls are only for decorative purposes.
