Hi,
I bought the game today and already experienced two Bluescreens with Stopcode 0x124. Im running Vista. When do you plan to fully support this OS?

Sorry you are having probelms. Where did you buy it from? The Slitheirne version supports Vista as far as we know. Can you give system specs and more details about when teh problem occurs.

I might be experiencing a similar problem. I downloaded CEAW from Matrix last week and installed it on my PC. I am running Vista (32 bit) with all the required specs. I can start CEAW and play it normally with no problem. However, after I shut the machine down and reboot it again, Windows says that the system registry has been corrupted, that Windows cannot load, and that the PC must be restarted from an earlier save point -- namely, before I installed CEAW. I have installed the game 4 times, and each time after the install experience the same problem. I have installed other software since, and those programs have run just fine. Other than never turning my PC off, is there any ideas you might have to solve the problem?

I'm sorry but Vista is not supported by the Matrix version. You'll need to contact Matrix about this directly. Some people say setting it to run as Administrator helps. It seems to be related to their installer.

After trying several different variations, I have finally gotten CEAW to work on my Vista PC. It has been working for several days now, without any difficulty. Here's what I did: First, I installed the game to the D: partition on my hard drive (it is a HP machine, which came with the usual C: main drive and the D: backup partition). Next, I set the game to "run as administrator." Finally, I set the game's memory preferences as low. It has worked fine ever since, and I am now enjoying playing this game immensely. Hopefully other with Vista issues will have similar success, until a patch addresses these issues.
