I'm not sure but I think there is already a thread regarding to savegames. Since I can't find it anymore it is possible this question is already answered.
Is it a feature of version 1.10 beta 2 that savegames of version 1.06 won't be loaded? Maybe only because of the different path "Panzer Corps Beta" instead of "Panzer Corps" (however the save-path for version 1.10beta2 and 1.06 is the same)?

This has been mentioned earlier, so When I installed the game today...

I opened up beta1 editor changed the opening scenario from old game to an AK scenario.
Installed beta 2
Open up editor and it works fine on all old games.

So I know it works this way.

However, if you had a scenario other than an AK loaded into the editor when you installed beta two, the editor does not work correctly.
This is what has been reported.

Installing the game they way I did, the editor works.

Please send me (rudankort@rsdn.ru) any saved games from 1.05/1.06 which do not load with AK. I'll see why it does not work. AK is supposed to be fully backwards-compatible with any existing stuff (be it saved games, custom scenarios etc.) from the older versions.

Still the savegame from version 1.06 won't be loaded by version 1.10beta3. Is it because version 1.10beta3 is installed in a different path ("Panzer Corps Beta" instead of "Panzer Corps")?

I was able to load your saved game just fine. What error are you getting for it, is it "content package missing"? If yes, that's because the save was made in the Grand Campaign. In order to play GC, and this includes saves, you need the right DLC installed. You cannot install DLCs under beta AK, but with released AK you will be able install DLCs and use your saved games just fine.

No Message, the game remains on the main menu without any action. But I'll inform you prompt if it won't work in the final release.

I tried it with a savegame from the first original campaign (starting in Poland), it also won't be loaded. I suppose it is because of the missing serial number like the savegame before.

Beta4: Of course a savegame from version 1.06 can be loaded, I never doubt.
