A question about the 1809 French Guard list.

The army list says that Old Guard cannot be in the same division as Young Guard. Does it mean that Old Guard artillery and infantry cannot support a division that contains Young Guard, or does it mean that only Old Guard Infantry cannot be in the same division as Young Guard?

Thanks and regards from sunny Spain!

That is certainly the intent.

Ummm,.. :shock:
So what exactly is the intent?
That:
a) that Old Guard artillery and infantry cannot support a division that contains Young Guard;
or,
b) only Old Guard Infantry cannot be in the same division as Young Guard?
:wink:
Cheers

Sorry - The intent is that Old guard Artillery CAN be used in the same division as Young Guard infantry

Thanks. That offers much more possibilities to that army list.
