Dear All,

I have just bought the download of FOG and as it was on promo I also got "Swords and Scimitars"

I downloaded FOG and put my number there. played a couple of games. all works great so now I wanted to put the add on.

My FOG is the 1.3.3 . As I put the code for my "S&S" it tells that the code is not valid.

So then I go to try to get the update: ie the 1.8.0

but it does not work. they tells me there is a problem. I go to the Matrix site and download it there but it still does not work.

As I can that the update has just come out I recon it is not ready at think that at least I can play multiplayer, but here again I need the FOG 1.8.0

My MAC is a Mac OS X 10.5.8 and should be good enough...

Am I the only one? what els can I do? Should I deleated it and the reinstall it? If anyone has any sort of answer I would welcome it.

For Mac all you need to do is click the check for updates button on the main menu.

Try this and let us know how it goes.

On the main menu of the game I have,

I then leave the screen of the game and returne to the desktop of my mac,
then there is a long bar with a 1/19 files to download. it just back fires immediatly and tell me that there is a problem and that i should try again later.

Should I disinstall and reinstall? please tell me if I am the only one having trouble with it?

Btw My internet connection is perfect, and I think that just must be a little glitch with the 1.8.0.

Is there an other update I could download in the meen time? a 1.7.0 for exemple?

I would try downloading the 1.8 Upgrade and run that locally as an exe. This is probably faster and more likely to succeed than applying all of the updates you need using the check for updates button.

I think Polo is using a Mac so that wont work. Can you mail info@slitherine.co.uk if you are still having trouble and we'll get you an alternative download link with the latest version.
