Do any of the experienced modders have offsets, animations, and accurate attack audio for these units? If not, I think this would be a very worthwhile project. Thanks.

This units are all made by Puma and i don“t believe, that he give you permission to do that!
4kEY didn't say it was him who made them. Although it would be nice to have mention at least that and the name of the author and his link. I don't think he's stealing anybodies work.
But unless those units were made by you, Ballerman, you cannot act on behalf of the author and ask for 4kEY to delete this content.
If indeed it's Puma the author, and I believe they are his, than it's him who must contact 4kEY.
Besides there are better ways to do this than just reporting things like that publicly. We can use PM.

Hi 4kEY, because of your unauthorized posts of Pumas units, he has stopped posting any icons. And,Paolo, these Icons ARE from Puma....
Well, there's nothing to say anymore. I think, that was it. I don`t believe that Puma post icons in the future again... :(

Sorry, but if there's a problem, surely Puma can contact 4kEY.
No need for drama. IMO, you're all overreacting.

What's the point of putting icons on a public forum if they're not to be used? If someone is so precious about them they should make that clear wherever they are posted or just say "I have these icons, PM me if you want to see and/or use them". Anything on a public forum is for public consumption IMO, as long as they are cited in works that use them.

My last post, a while ago, was on this same topic. I mentioned the author then. The only responses I got were ridiculous, as seems to be the case now, with exception to VPaulus.

VP, if anyone would be able to help organize proper use of these infantry units, it would be you. What do you think?

Edit: Also, El Condoro should be acknowledged for having sanity.

Puma already "burned all bridges" once before, for a similar reason - even when credited, he goes postal when he sees his stuff being cross-posted somewhere, or so it seems.
I DO feel Puma should get a mention if someone does that, but beyond that, his attitude reminds me of that of a certain other individual that was banned from here a while ago.
After all, Puma never mentions the sources for his icons, either, despite him often just utilizing models from Company of Heroes and possibly other games.
There's a german saying, "Wer im Glashaus sitzt, soll nicht mit Steinen werfen." - don't throw stones if you sit in a glass house...

I went to the link Churchlakesitty put here. I was thinking "What wonderful work." Then I stumbled on something bad. Language barrier or other, someone point this out:

viewtopic.php?f=147&t=34720

I'm NOT GOING TO REMOVE THIS. I'm convinced Puma, or Churchlake, different people or not, are not as immature as they seem. They, or he, are confused because of ignorance, which is to say, lack of information. No insult there, look up the word 'ignorant' in a dictionary, then look at the link.

I keep walking away from here with a sour taste.......tastes like little babies

4key, I hope you will not make a similarities in personalities link between Churchlakecity and PUMA. They are friends it is true, BUT Churchy is only too glad to provide a tremendous amount of excellent icons to all of us FREE and without vanity and limitations. I like PUMA"S units too, but I respect his wishes no matter what conditions he puts on them. So please do not compare the "sharing and giving freely" of icons and other favors to us from Churchy with that of PUMA who has for what ever reasons, peculiar ideas about what can and should be done with his icons.

This forum is the most helpful and generous forum you will find. I have made many many friends from many countries and we have never met in person. I count Churchy amongst them as well. He is an asset to Panzer Corps make no doubt about it. I have never established correspondence with PUMA, so I really don't know him. But he also has provided excellent icons even though he is rather protective of them in a proprietory way.

Although in this virtual world we never know, I firmly believe that Churchy and Puma aren't the same person.
Churchy has been a good member in this community. :)

Them being the same person was not the focal point of  ...my point. It IS irrelevant.

It seems I've written everything else in invisible text  Silly me.

Edit: I almost did it too. After re-reading, I have to acknowledge, Church is a good guy.

You guys can't tell me you don't want to drop those Brandenburgers behind enemy lines...with special SFX and muzzle flashes coming out of the gun instead of their heads like SS Inspector Gadget....c'mon...you know you want to

Personally, i have no issues with anyone and i prefer to keep it that way.
I think if 4key just would have posted the units shown in a scenario screenshot, stating the same question, there wouldn't have been a stir at all.
A person is who as he is, everybody is just different and Puma doesn't like his stuff presented somewhere else, where it can be downloaded without his consent.
I don't think that this is so difficult to understand.

You people should know, that Puma's english is rather bad. So it's possible that he missunderstood something......He is really not a bad guy......and he is really a very good friend of mine.
And,by the way,for me it is not important, when anybody use my icons or change them graphically or in another kind, it only were nice, if i knew this.
And I'm really a person of my own. Puma lives 400 or 500 miles away from me...............he lives in northern germany and i live in bavaria..... :D

EDIT: 4kEY,you couldn't knew this, but your posting of his units was not a good idea.Well, shit happens.....for the future it were better, you contact Puma before. But we should not make us stress for this. Puma will not post any icons, there is nothing to change....but show must go on....

But the fact is I don't see that mention anywhere. Besides people can talk in a civil manner, and don't remove download links as punishment. Punishment to whom?
So now, he will only show the units. Who his he teasing?
I know another person who behaves like that... but to be honest I don't think Puma has a bad character, I only don't agree with his extreme attitude in this matter.
Too much drama.
But he's he and I am I. I've to respect him but not necessarily to agree with him.
