I tried to download the MP user scenarios by Cambrai.
After download I get an error "there was an error downloading file" (more o less).
This happens on the BA , BA beta.

Tried Map by Insidus and the same error happens.

Is this in 2.0.5? I cannot repeat it here with the beta version. They all download and run fine for me. I know there were issues running it on the current release. Is it possible your iPad is full?

No, my iPad is full of free space.

That MP Cambrai seems to be downloaded ok, but not Insidus Maps.
I'll try with another iPad.

Finally it works.
I added some of the missing files to Insidus Maps (I don not why they did not download) and now it works.
Also my own campaign works. (upper and lower case characters are significative for BA in the iPad BBCBA)

This is on the Mac version I assume? Otherwise how would you be able to add or change files on the iPad?

No, no, from the normal Mac users interface you're not allowed to change nothing inside the iPad, you need to go deep, to the low level to change files in the iPad. I just do it to test my scenarios there.

Cool - so long as it's not something simple to do. Otherwise I'll get all kinds of strange bug reports...

I'm encountering issues with some of the user generated scenarios crashing between the unit selection screen and the game actually starting. I'm using iOS 5.1.1. build 2.04 of BA. Occurs for Pacific War and Hells Highway and WW1 scenarios - all missions within those campaigns.

This is a known issue introduced in 2.0.4. The fix in 2.0.5 has been with Apple for more than a week, so hopefully we will be releasing the fix at the start of next week.

I just had this issue with 2 great war scenarios, glad to see a fix coming

Update version 2.0.5 is in the applications update today. Unfortunately, it's over 50 MB, so you must update it over WiFii only.

I'm not sure what you are saying. I assume that would have been true of the main game too? BA is about 200Mb to download IIRC. Updates are basically a new version of the entire game - there isn't any way to only update a portion of the data set.

If you have no Tech Support issue and are just giving other information, then carry on .

Sorry for the abbreviated post. I was just trying to inform this thread that version 2.0.5 Battle Academy app is now in the Apple App Store and in the automatic update page. However, it's over 50 MB so if you have an iPad, you can' t update the BA game by data link. You must update by using a WiFii connection.
