When editing a file, when you save BA offers always "New Save", but should offer the name of the file you're working.

Backspace away the New Save text and type in your new name. Number or letter each one in case you decide to go back to a previous one.

I think he (quite fairly) means that it should default to the current file if it has been loaded from an existing file. It's something I have been noticing myself over the last week as I did some work in the editor.
