Hi,
Don't know if this is the right place to ask? My grandson and i sit next to each other on two seperate pc's and find it's time consuming to have to keep e-mailing our turns to each other. Is there a way we can play without having to use the PBEM system? I have purchased and installed two seperate copies of the game on the pc's. I also have absolutely no idea what scripting is!
thanks

I'm afraid that the only way to play against another person is via the PBEM system currently. We are working on a more fully featured hotseat feature, but I don't think that is what you are thinking about. Uploading and downloading the turns should only take a few seconds. What kind of approach are you thinking would work better for your setup?
Cheers

Hi Pip
I have a son and grandson with pc's in the UK and PBEM is perfect for them. My other grandson does not have a pc and uses grandma's when he visits on weekends and school holidays (ZA). I have a hardwire network set up so lan would be ideal. Hotseat will also work even though he always tries to watch my moves - he's got to win sometimes to keep him motivated.
I have downloaded some user multiplayer maps via the in-game link but have no idea how to access them.

We're unlikely to implement a LAN mode - it would only be used by a tiny number of people and would take a lot of additional work unfortunately.
Once you have downloaded a MP campaign it will appear on the list of missions available to post as a challenge. Single player campaigns appear at the bottom of the single player campaign list, with a different colour scheme.
Cheers
