Eric,

Not sure of the cause but you might want to check that directory and see if that file already exists. If so, I would rename it to a different name and then try starting the game again. I suspect it may be a temporary file that was inadvertently left around when you had a problem with starting a new game.

It may be that the folder you want to delete is a hidden file, in which case you'd need to select Windows folder options to show hidden files (which it doesn't do by default).

I don't know which version of Windows you have. Try typing Slitherine into the Run/Search pane of the Start menu. Then when the search pane comes up click on Advanced Search and tick "Include non-indexed, hidden and system files". It'll probably be in there. Good luck!

Hi Chris

If you note my other comment I have already done that.

I am trying again with just Slitherine being searched for but surely that isn't going to help.

have entered C:\User\eric\AppData\Roaming\Slitherine\FieldofGlory\Start.fogsg into search and that couldn't find anything, including advanced search.

What came up was uninstall, which is massive, so I scrolled down on that to find the above file name and NADA.

Wonderinh why it has affected only 2 games?

Have done Slitherine but that is taking quite a while and I will prob have every single file up. All I can hope is that it will be in alphabetical order

I have windows vista - home premium 2007 installed

Ruddy bloody hell, windows internet explorer just stopped working while waiting for teh search to be completed

Again all thanks for the help but I really do need to be shown exactly what to do I don't care if it is

1) Electricity paid for
2) Plug into point
3) Switch on

et ruddy cetera

I have spent an hour or so trying to figure it out for myself

Click on the Start menu button and select 'Computer'. A pane will come up. Select (Local Disk) disk C: on the left - this is your hard disk drive.

One of the folders inside will be called User or Users. Inside that folder will be one called eric and so on. Follow this path - it's like Russian dolls (the wooden ones!):

C:\User\eric\AppData\Roaming\Slitherine\FieldofGlory\Start.fogsg

If you can't see any folder or file it's because it's hidden (probably from AppData onwards this'll be the case). Follow the instructions from Microsoft in my previous post to show hidden files.

No, I'm not an IT-ist...
