It will certainly look very PRETTY, which is the point
How bad will I get smashed though? Is there any way to stop something like a Guard Corps with this? I figure the Brunswick Division will be my fire brigade and everything else will have to sit there and get killed and buy time.......still, don't know If I will be able to resist how cool it would look

personally I would attach the artillery to your line troops and keep the conscripts out back for rear support. If worse comes to worse you send them up front to fill a gap. Try making your division commanders competent and see what you can pick up for the extra points. Not a really bad force, just very light on cavalry so you might have an issue if your opponent has a substantial cavalry force.

Well.....you can't really do that. The brunswick troops (incl Landwehr) are all drilled and have to be in their own division, while the hanoverian troops (including line) are all conscripts and have to be in their own divisions...
I'm not sure i want to drop lower than skilled because there's just so much softness in there. I could dropp the cavalry attachments and add the Hanoverian hussars or some hanseatic cavalry, just to give me a little more cavalry

Not sure were you are but at Roll Call the points system used would'nt allow you to buy time if you lose 30%(roughly 8 attrition points) of your army and not took any points your army breaks.

My first thought was that it didn't look too bad at all. Having been using 1813 Austians from the rulebook until now, I've actually become quite fond of large units of conscripts. However, I then noticed that you're only allowed 16 bases of Hanoverian Infantry in the list, which means you can't have the 4 large units of average conscript line infantry in two Hanoverian Divisions. I personally wouldn't take conscripts in small units, unless they were only there to provide rear support, so I'm not sure how best to fix this. Perhaps only having one Hanoverian Division and having a third division of other Germans might work, although you'd lose out on artillery.

I am surprised and thrilled that folk are actually willing to try some of these lesser known and otherwise unpromising armies. I had m'doubts if it was worth even putting them in as no-one would bother ! Best of luck to all those who try using them. They may need it.

In the spirit of Murat - you accept your army will die BUT it's unforgivable to not not look good doing so.

I dont understand why people get so hung up about ratings. What matters is cost effectiveness and tactical combinations. I have won several games so far running an 1813 force of mostly conscript French. In big units they are still hard to stop. Similarly your Confederation list can buy lots of large reformed infantry units, lights, lancers and skirmishers. What is the problem?

Ahhh, so have I - until ToN arrived. In the "real" 1813 French lists all of our conscripts must be run in "fours" - no "sixes" allowed. I have yet to see how this will work, but I'm expecting it to be bad.

Too bad to hear that about the 1813 French Kevin. Still, the Confedertion list is looking good for six base conscript units.
