Suggestions for Afrika Corps and future releases

Hello everyone!
Recently I started playing Panzer Corps again to try out the new DLC Grand Campaign. I love it! However, there are a few minor changes I would like to see implemented in the game, so I thought I would start a thread with some suggestions. Feel free to add some of your own.
While I love Panzer Corps, there are a few things I would like to see changed. In my opinion, tanks are too limited in this game. While I understand that a balanced force is ideal, it seems to me that most experienced players tend to make either bombers or artillery the core of their force. But in a casual wargame called "Panzer Corps" it seems to me that Panzers should have a much larger role. To achieve that, these are my suggestions:
1. Allow tanks to ignore Zones of Control, thereby allowing them to bypass enemy strong points the same way they did in WWII. Another option would be to allow tanks to ignore zones of control for all units except anti-tank units and other tanks.
2. Give late-war tanks (like the Tiger, Panther, T-34-85, IS-2, etc.) a firing range of two.
3. Bring back the "Overrun" ability whereby, under certain circumstances, a tank can continue to move and attack after destroying an enemy unit. While this ability can be unbalancing, it can be limited to only take place under ideal conditions where the tank is far more powerful than the unit it has just destroyed.
Personally, I would like to see early-war tanks able to ignore zones of control for all units except anti-tank units and other tanks. Then when you get to the larger, slower late-war tanks, they would no longer be able to ignore zones of control but would have a 2 hex firing range instead. This would give early war tanks the ability to take advantage of their relative speed and maneuverability while allowing the larger, slower, more powerful late-war tanks the ability to take advantage of their superior firepower.
Any thoughts?
