Paratroopers

Is there any chance Paras would be added at a later time? Personally I'd see them on a division level, since Market-Garden was the only corps level operation in WW2. In such a case they would not present a significant fighting strength but a special force for capturing important and undefended spots.

I strongly support this suggestion ! It would add some depth to the game and on this corps scale it would be ok to have a para Division.

Yes... plus if we can't have Paras in a WW2 western front game then when? It is the only conflict in history where they appeared in such numbers that justify portraying at this scale...

For human v human play this might be possible, but if the AI has to deal with it, it could be a huge job. If it's not done right there could be all sorts of exploits this would allow, potentially spoiling the game. It's going to depend on demand really!

Well, of course it would be great if AI could use it to full potential, but even if not having it for PvP would be great still.

I wouldn't want to see paras in a strategic game like this. Far too many exploits; and usually the AI can't handle it.
Please leave it out.

I would like to see paratroopers also, especially because map is huge, but it should be quantity limit to 1 maybe 2 per major power. And here we have problem; game does not have limitation per unit type. But paras are small problem, here is a big one:
Guys, still can’t deploy US commander while US is neutral and because of that I can’t deploy other units in building queue. I am playing 1941. scenario. If you want some kind of rule that commanders can’t be deployed while major power is neutral my suggestion is that commanders should be automatically placed at last place in building queue. In that way they will not block other units for deployment.

The production queue might have the Commander or other units that are finished placed first but when you click the deploy button the force pool will resort the units showing those that have any hexes where to deploy first.
Do you have any screenshot or save you can send me where you clicked the force pool button and got a Commander placed first that was blocking other deployments?

Based on what the devs said about paratroops and potential balancing issues, I'd say leave them out...unless you can allow them for PBEM games only

Sure. I can send you save file. On what e-mail?
By the way, in PBEM game when my opponent is using counters and I want non-counter units I must turn counters option ON and then OFF to have units in non-counter mode. I have reported this issue to you in beta testing also but it is still here.
