MP games ending premarely

The last 3 Mp games are ending after only 3 or 4 turns. My last opponent Johnster says he didnt surrender, Whats happening?

I just had one end after the first turn. Playing MP map Head On, after each player played one turn, it ended, I got Objective failed. Had 11 turns to go???

Are you playing on the beta, or on the released version of the game?
