Available for a TCP/IP Game

This works VERY well - I tested it with the game developer, but would love to play some more games so I can do an AAR. If anyone has online time weeknights and/or weekends and wants to play the game:

email me at vypuero@netscape.net
use Windows Messenger/MSN IM - look up my email address and ask to add me (just write CEAW) for chat.

Some items:
Playing TCP/IP gives the best "live" action play
You can save games to re-play later
Crashes are pretty much ZERO - it is very stable
only on occasion in full screen you may get alt-tab crash (rare) and the chat in-game can cause a crash on occasion so I usually restrict chat to IM instead (which is better anyway) - if a crash does happen, auto-save works and lets you reload the last completed turn.

If we can get more people - maybe we can get a ladder someday too!

I am interested in trying this and have a opponent lined up here in the UK. Being in the same timezone should make things a lot easier than PBEM.

Have you any advice for those like me who have never tried this before

I would think even a hours play would allow for several game turns

Or perhaps you could guide me through the process with a trial game

The main difficulty is the time difference, at least 5 hours between the USA and UK

Dave

ps my level of modern tech is best illustrated by only using my mobile phone for making calls!!

have a nice system for competition, so if anyone want to administer a league there would be very nice and exiting to follow :)

We had a ladder system set up for Legion Arena. I'll check it out and see if we can get it updated for Commander. No need to go off site then :)
