line of sight

Hi, I am still having trouble working out the rules about hedges. I thought you couldn't be seen behind one unless the enemy unit was next to you, but you could shoot as far as possible over the hedge if you were next to it. Then (in Sealion) I moved a British infantry unit next to a hedge and a half-track about five tiles away on level ground sees my unit straight away and destroys it. So I move an Armadillo into the same spot as the infantry, and I'm told I can't shoot at the half-track because there's no line of sight! So the half track, which is nowhere near my troops, can see my troops behind the hedge, but I can't see it, even though I am right next to the hedge?

Yeah, the hedge logic isn't working quite right. I think some logic we added for hills is messing with things and making infantry visible to the enemy only when they (the infantry) can see out of the hedge. It's on the bug list, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It need careful fixing to avoid any side effects.
