Hmm I don't want this to become anything more than what I started it off as, that being a quick blurb for any that might not realise the "why"

I have "issues" with the Matrix Games forums (not Matrix Games products by any stretch of the imagination).

But that's my headache, and need not be yours. Just mentioning it because A. Ian and others post over there, and a lot of discussion ends up over there, and B. if you are wondering "why doesn't Les post over there?" now you know

Ian has earned my whole hearted support of the game though, and I plan to give it my attention here, as opposed to there (in addition to Gamesquad, and Armchair General where I also post as Aries).

Agreed. I don't like the Matrix forums either.

And, frankly, I hate the idea that "a lot of the discussions end up over there". That's patently wrong. Matrix is only one distributor, their customers represent only a portion of the players, and anyone who bought their game anywhere else has no reason to ever go to the Matrix forums, or even know they exist.

Well the plan isn't to mount a hate campaign

Those that will go there, will. But, I plan to regard Slitherine as the primary source for Commander, and when I have reason to direct any to the game, I will direct them here.

Ian earned that much from me.
