Hi,
I purchased THE HISTORY CHANNEL ® Great Battles of Rome
I started the download by clicking on "Begin Download". I was using a download manager (Getright). The download started. I left the page open, which at the bottom also had the "add" button for adding extended download service. The extimated download time as 2 hours. After returning to the computer approx. 2 hours later, the download was not finished. Trying to resume with Getright resulted in the error "forbidden". Trying to restart with the "Begin download" button on the store page resulted in the error "Too many download attempts: 18. You were allowed to download only 5 times." After purchasing the Extended Download service option by clicking on the "add" button, which should give 2 years of downloads, I could not restart the download since now the error was "Too many download attempts: 20. You were allowed to download only 15 times". So purchasing the extended download service did not fix the limited number of downloads error. It only raised it by 10. I mailed digitalriver about this problem about 15 hours ago, but received no response. Now I have got the serial number but no program. Is there anything You can do about that?
yours sincerely

Sorry you are having problems. Digital River uses its own internal download manager and I think this is the problem - the two managers are inteferring with each other. Please disable your download manager and try again.

When you click on the download link select "Run" and this will download a small 350k download manager and run it to download the game.

If this does not help let us know and we'll see what else we can do.

deactivated getright (and flashgot). Still no go. the error was not from the download manager but after clicking on "begin Download" the browser shows a page with the following text:

Sorry,

Too many download attempts: 34. You were allowed to download only 15 times.

If you have any questions, please contact Digital River Customer Service at CustomerServices@digitalriver.com.

digitalriver does not use a download manager. clicking on "Begin Download" at the beginning started the download of a ~590MByte file, which is now stuck at about 320MByte.
