Hi all,

Just updated my game to version 1.8.0 but I can't find any information on what the update entails. I noticed it preloaded a battlepack but I can't access the battles and I don't see any info on the website regarding purchasing the battle pack. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My guess is that it's just the preload for the battlepack before they launch it. As was said on another thread, they noticed a few things to correct, so a 1.8.1 version is likely to arrive in a few weeks. And I'd assume the Battlepack goes for sale when that patch is out.

Much thanks Tiavals! I missed the thread post regarding 1.8.1 but would imagine you are right.

Are there some new DAG maps? I'm noticing some new interesting designs, although maybe it's just me.

The plan was to release the BattlePack Tuesday and announce all this then but a glitch delayed the Battlepack release till today but the patch went live as planned. Sorry for the black hole of information. All will become clear soon!

The primary fix in 1.8.0 is that the split move rear charge bug is fixed and also a bug in the impact POAs for pikes and spears when in a stream hex (which had a major effect on the Granicus scenario in the Battle Pack). Also more DAG corrections based on issues reported in the support forum.

Great news. Now I can finally position my units properly before rear-charging with horse archers and other "cowardly" units.
