My son wants to play me in battle academy. We both use mine and my wife's iPad. Do I purchase a 2nd copy of BA, so we both can play in our house?. He signed up last night and attempted to play my BA, but was told something about Serial Registration. My assumption is he needs to buy a copy of the game under his name, "dancer", before he can play. My assumption is that each purchase is tied to a specific buyer, right? I don't want to buy another copy of BA if we can play on the same router at home.

Bottom line, if he buys under his name then we can play, right?

Hmmm - the system isn't really set up for multiple players on the same iPad. Buying another copy of the game won't help as it caches some information when you login to the iPad, and you can only have one copy installed on a given iPad.

Let me look into whether there is a workaround.

But if I bought the second copy of BA for my wife's iPAD, that would work? Thus my son plays on her iPad and me on mine? Still interested if we could have 2 separate copies on 1 iPad, as when we take off on summer road trips without mom, she won't let hers go with us

Ah - I see. Sorry, I read it as you and your wife shared one iPad. Yes, if you buy one copy under your account on your iPad and one under her account on her iPad then you can of course register them to different users. That would work fine.

I will see if we can do anything regarding multiple users in time for the next update.

My dad bought a new iPad3 and gave me his. My copy of BA is on my mom's iPad and I want to play on my new (dads old one) iPad, she gets mad if I keep taking hers. how can i transfer my game from her's to mine. My dad bought two copies so we could play each other. thank you dancer, thats my name on the screen not my real name

The only way to transfer is to completely delete it from the iPad and reinstall it. Then log in using the username and password you want to use. Unfortunately you cant transfer single player progress, only multiplayer.
