Single Player / Multi Player?

Play is conducted in a series of turns as a single player game. . . . . . .
. . . . . . Multiplayer
I was just rereading the Overview and Features posted about the game and this lead to some confusion.
The first sentence I interpret it as the game being a single player game only. But then down in the features it states Multi Player.
Can you please clear this up for me?
is it single player or MP or both?
Thanks

The game is definitely Singleplayer and we are looking and investigating at ways of implementing and incorporating the proved cross-platform PBEM++ MP feature , we already use in BA, PzC and CTGW games. If we can we will of course... but no promises at this point in time.

Wonderful answer.
I know to many players, MP is a must in every game.
To me personally, I never (or very close to it) play MP. I always want a killer AI and don’t really care about the MP part one way or the other. It just was a bit confusing to me – thank you for clearing it up.

I too am an exclusive single player, and I too want a killer AI (not just a point system that give it better rolls and more resource points) and am perfectly happy without MP
