being shot to spent

I was wondering if you were a spent cavalry unit and were fired on and took 4 or more hits, would you then suffer a second spent result and be destroyed or is spent a one shot deal?

also while I am thinking about it, a spent cav unit that breaks is not destroyed so you can still try to rally it?

Just wondering but it looks like only infantry that is spent is destroyed if it breaks a 2nd time.
Thanks for helping on this one.

One-shot.

The restriction only applies to infantry so horsemen may rally multiple times. Slim odds. but historically justifiable and appropriate in game terms.

I had a game when I had to rout a veteran French Hussar unit FOUR times before it went away for good!

I cant get my Hungarians back from wavering, let alone keeping them around till they break and then try to rally them :?
