Is there any way to patch the multiplayer for this game to emulate the ease of use factor like in PzC or C:TGW?

Hmm, OK. I was looking at the opening screen and I noticed it is still 2.0?? I read somewhere someone posting text concerning usability of the 2.10 version. Is it out yet? Have I missed the Great Pumpkin this year? I couldn't find a link anywhere. . .
