The OVER RUN possiblity?

Hello to all PZc. and creators :) I have a thought concerning the Over run ability, many here are aware of this feature in the great PG2 WW2 SSI game. For many it was a true burden and pain in the arse. WHY? Because it caused inflicted so many kills and damage on the O.F. with little or no charge to the attacker in general. Perhaps this has been tossed about in another thread? My thought is this, OVERUN can only occur in just a few situations with limited rules.

Overun can only happen when : An armoured unit(tank) has destroyed an enemy unit, thus giving the tank one HEX move and one shot at the O.F.thus reducing its move on the following turn.

FINAL thought while here..... The 88MM AA gun is fantastic, would be great to see that the 88 could shoot 2/3 hexes on the land side of the world, like it does in the air mode. :D

This was already discussed before the game release in the beta forums and after.

I like the overrun feature also - Let us make PC more like PG3D (PGII) - I like them much more like the older PG.

The moment PC turns into PG3D I'll give up PC exactly like I've done with PG.

The Moderator Vpaulus is correct, overun would be a PG2 redux. I withdraw my suggestion and ANY subsequent furthering of such debate. :D Carry on PANZER CORPS! LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!

I'm not an anti-overun, ME262. I wouldn't mind as longs the game keep balanced.
What I'm anti, is the 3D and isometric perspectives in Panzer Corps.

I quite agree.

That ersatz PG 3D isometric was a failed experiment IMO.
It looked trendy & modern at the time, but in practice it turned out to be a nightmare.
It made it far too hit & miss guesstimating where you could attack & where you fell short.
