Not any longer... Where are you encountering difficulty?

What I want to know is whether it's actually possible to kill a German tank within 3 turns... Has anyone done this?

Aha,...see,..I always think multi-player maps,..
It's been a while since I've played that single-player map.

What I do know,..is the one single-player map that was almost impossible to win was the Polish Hill.
Must have played that one 50 times.

The map seems to not have many strategic choices. One choice is to take the defended hill or go around it.

I would say that it's not so much a matter of strategic choices as tactical superiority. Send scouts before tanks, generally. Use artillery to maximum effect (you know that the fortified hill is heavily defended, so start blasting it right away). I've found that with the revised bomber and artillery the scenario has gotten significantly easier. The general laws of Sherman use apply, naturally, when facing German tanks...

Lord this one is kicking me down. 17 go rounds and I've pulled 4vp once, 3vp twice, and 2vp the rest of the time.

Everything but that da*n German tank within 3 turns... Gonna try directing my planes and artillery to the Armored Assembly Parks... cause I don't think there's any other way.
