TT BG's vs. Digital BG's

I just purchased a copy of FoG TT rules and I must say it is an impressive book even if I never do play with miniatures. I would highly recommend it for FoG Digital players. It's an absolutely beautiful book and has lots of info that helps understand the mechanics of FoG digital. I was able to get a new copy from Amazon for $19.

But now to the gist of my topic...

What is the correlation between the TT BG's and the digital BG's? Is there a quick and easy conversion? For example, how many stands in TT equals a BG in Digital? I thought I'd seen this discussion on this forum before but can't seem to locate it. Since "Swifter than Eagles" will not see the light of day, I'd like to convert the STE companion book lists to the Digital game.

They obviously changed a lot in the conversion, but the closest aproximation I can think of is a pc BG is the equivelent of 4 TT bases in a 2x2 formation. Hence the 4 dice in impact and melee. This is also why Knights in the PC game ( as well as elephants chariots) only lose melee combat dice when their % strength is reduced below 50%. In the TT, those units get 2 dice per front rank base(and none for a second rank) while others only get 1 dice for a front rank, and another for the second rear rank base(if they have a rear rank base that is).

EDIT I am pretty sure AP wise , a BG in the PC game has the same cost as one single base in the TT.

Thanks GM. I guess I should get off my lazy arse and compare DAG lists with companion book lists to see if there is a pattern.

I haven't been playing FoG digital lately, but buying that TT rule book has piqued my curiosity and interest again.
