column movement

page 41, is written "troops in column move at +1 MU along roads or through any terrain if the indicated move distance is less than their move distance in open terrain."

therefore, I have the following questions :
1°) do this apply also for charge distance ? (legionarri in column in a forest charging at 2 MU)
2°) do this apply also for evading move (VMD) ?
3°) if a MF unit is 2bases wide, makes a full move of at least 3MU in a forest and can contract to 1, ending thus as a column, does this entitle it to do an extra 1MU for being in a column at the end of the move ?
4°) same question, but the unit does a first 90°, assuming this move let them in a column position ?

The whole move in the terrain (or whole move on the road) must be in column to get the plus and it is added to everything

As you can see from Phil's comments. In particular 3 and 4 do not get the +1

I can't see how this could ever be possible. I guess Light Infantry in difficult going could evade in column.

yes, also LH, but I admit this is rather desperate situations !
My main concern was the charging, indeed.
Thank you anyway for all your answers; this point is clear to me now;
