Adding more core units to a campaign

I have started work on a mini-campaign and the first three scenarios are about finished.
I want to add 4 more core units to the second scenario.
I have placed these core units on the map and have increased the no of core units in the Scenario Parameters.
Also added the Special Hexes 'deployment tank' symbol on each of the core unit hex.

The deployment phase for the second scenario only shows the original 5 core units. That I understand is probably correct.
However, the 4 new core units are not on the map.

Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to add more core units later in a campaign?

Thanks
Erik

Shift left click each unit, edit trigger, add time condition, turn between 1 and 1 (to appear immediately after the deployment phase). Make sure the auxiliary box is not ticked.

And I noticed that you can set a turn later than (1,1) and the new core units will arrive as reinforcements. Nice.

That's correct. You can add core or auxiliary units at any (random) turn during the mission.
Not only the time trigger can be used, but the map trigger as well. For example if you capture a town, that you get additional unit(s).
