Great news, good feature list, and very good looking preview screens. Has it been decided already if this comes as download only, or possibly as hardcopy too?

I'll start with some questions
1. If AK is compatible with PzC Wehrmacht, will units that start out with desert camo swap to European camo when they move to Europe and vice versa?
2. In which ways has the AI been improved?

Yes.

It is too early to tell at this point. I'll have more details to share by the time we start the beta. For now I can only indicate three main directions of AI work for Africa:
- Fixing the most commonly mentioned annoyances in AI play
- Improving its performance on offense
- Extending available options for AI scripting and configuration available in the editor

Depending on how these changes affect existing campaigns, new AI may not be active in them by default, although it will be possible to activate it manually.

Hmm, I doubt there will be a different signup.
After all it was also thanks to all these beta testers that the game is successful.

Its looking good so far with the few screen shots available to look at. I hope there are more improvement made to the Scenario editor.

I've been missing Africa. It is my favorite theater of the war.

I was kind of wishing they would incorporate a naval core, but I suppose this is Afrika Korps not Kreigsmarine Korps.

Actually I think that would make an awesome DLC. The River Plate, the hunt for the Bismarck, U-Boat action, PQ-17, the Channel Dash, a speculative scenario with the Graf Zeppelin ...
