When receiving this message "The script or other data being used by your opponent do not match yours…" what should be done? the alert suggest to abandon the game (maybe surrender the match?).

It generally means someone has been tinkering with the data. You should ask your opponent what is going on. Does it only happen with one person?

I already asked about this to my opponent but I got not answer from now on, I've also send a PM.
If next turn I receive the same message maybe I'll cancel (surrender) the game.
I do not know what will happen with others opponents as I'm not playing this scenario agains any other.

If it is a custom scenario that you downloaded from a link, rather than ingame, it is possible there are multiple versions of it and that might be the cause?

Just my 2 cents
It happens to me as well with a variety of opponents and scenario... The good think is that although I get the message, the game plays with no issues that I can see

The message does not stop the game from working - the message warns you the opponent has a different set of data which potentially allows them to cheat. E.g. they could have set their tanks to have more chance to hit or longer ranges. If you see the message and cant see a logical reason for it then its probably best to quit.

It might be worth checking with your opponent whether they have been tinkering with their files. Sometimes people don't realise that it could impact MP games. If both of you believe that your versions are as installed then we can look into it.

They should be identical. Can you take a look at exactly which map(s) you were playing on. Does it happen for every game, or only for some of them? If there is some data difference that slipped through the testing process we can rememdy it in the upcoming update if we know which maps are different.

Did not notice consistent "over performance" in BA
However, I do have my suspicions in Panzer Corp... Though the message does not appear in that game...
After playing some scenarios many times over, you can spot opponents whose troops consistently overperform... i.e. they inflict much more casualties.... I know the combat results are somewhat random, but the key here is consistency... The exact same attacks by these opponents consistently yield more casualties than attacks by other players....
