changing campaign path east/west

probably already a thread somewhere but wanted to ask.

thinking here, always thinking :wink:

I have been waiting for the final 45' of the GC's. soon I believe the west side of the war will be comming out with all it's GC's.

I like to save lots of work and let other people do the hard stuff like the Devs are doing.

my question: what would stop me from interchanging the east with the (new) west files at a given point if I wanted to go to the west in a campaign using the already developed files of the future west side of PzC?

say I go to 41' or 42' to a certain point and change over to the west?

same equipment time frame for both(has to be) and same game mechanics I suppose. unless, the new west mechanics is drastically different from 1.05? also this question is a kind of what's in the 1.06 update too :mrgreen:

Whether the version is v1.05 or v1.06 people will still be able to play any available DLC.
You can switch from DLC44 east to DLC45 west easily. You need to replace the guid code in the DLC45 west campaign.pzdat file by the guid code (from guid.txt) of DLC44 east.
Or the devs will use the same guid codes for DLC44 West and East , so that you can import your DLC 43 core into anyone of them.

I sure hope they will either release Africa or West GC after '45. Fighting Russia gets a bit boring, I want some different units and also different tanks to capture :lol:

hey alex0809, they better have more equipment :lol: yah, I just got a Pz IVF/2 at the last of the 44 east GC :shock: don't need any captured stuff unless it's the BOMB! :mrgreen:
