FoGN Unit Markers

Inspired by the great work on the Army Builder spreadsheet I was inspired to create unit markers for those who like me want an easy way to identify the status of units. I just print them out and glue them to some card to help them survive the rigours of gaming. If you want to get fancy you can use some clear adhesive sheet used to cover books.

I've put them somewhere where I hope you can retrieve them: http://www.riverlightcats.com/FoGN/FoGN ... arkers.pdf

Sorry that's not a direct link but I couldn't work out how to do that. (if someone can tell me I'll fix it)

Happy to produce other countries flags (by "borrowing" them from the spreadsheet!) if you really want your countries flag on them. I tend to take two sets, one to help my opponent remember their units status! :)

Hope they come in useful.

Nice job. It is a hassle that the forum does not support hyperlinks.

Thanks,

John

Well done!
I used a label-making machine to print out labels in different colors and mounted them on reverse sides of 40 X 20 mm metal bases.

A suggestion you might consider is different color backgrounds for the flags in your file; i.e. black for broken, red for wavering, yellow for disrupted, etc.

Good idea also perhaps smaller size for those who play 15mm or like a more discreet marker. Stay tuned ... :D

Hi,

To create a hyperlink:
1. When you post a reply you will see "URL" in the buttons below the "Subject:" box.
2.Click on this and it will insert "" into your message.
3. Add the hyperlink between the 2 bracketted commands, so it will appear as "insert your hyperlink here".

For example, here is the link to my club web page, with a growing number of FOGN articles:
http://www.nwa.org.au

But your link will not work because of the spaces (shown as "%20").
Change the spaces in your filename on your website to underscores (for example) and then change the link to match:
http://www.riverlightcats.com/FoGN/FoGN ... arkers.pdf
and your link will then work.

Thanks John, I'll give this a try on the weekend. I'll also create a simple page to list any other ideas I come up with! BTW I'm a long standing member of the Group North club here in SA.
